Solar Panels
The array is sized by how much energy you use over a year, not by how much power you draw at once. Rigid residential modules are typically 400-500W each.

Sits between panels and battery in an off-grid or hybrid system. MPPT harvests roughly 20-30% more from the same array than PWM, and lets you run higher-voltage panels on thinner cable.

Converts DC to AC. Sized by power, not by energy — your largest simultaneous load plus the surge of whatever motor starts under it. This is the component most often undersized.
