Contact
WattReady is run by a small independent team, and email reaches us directly — there is no ticket queue and no chatbot in between. We read everything and reply to most messages within two to three business days.
Corrections
This is the message we most want to receive. If a wattage figure looks wrong, a price is out of date, or a recommendation does not match what you found in practice, tell us which page and what you measured. Appliance draw varies by model and by age, so a real reading from your own meter is more useful to us than almost anything else. We correct the underlying data set rather than patching a single page, so one report usually fixes the figure everywhere it appears. Our editorial process explains how that works.
Questions about sizing
We are happy to sanity-check a calculation, and the more specific you are the more useful the answer: the appliances you need running, roughly how long for, and whether anything in the list has a motor or a compressor. What we cannot tell you is whether a particular installation meets your local electrical code — that genuinely requires a licensed electrician who can see the panel.
Press and partnerships
For advertising, affiliate programmes or press enquiries, put that in the subject line so it reaches the right person. We do not accept payment for reviews, for ranking positions or for editorial placements, and we do not publish sponsored posts. What we will do is add a retailer to our disclosed programme list when the products fit the site.
Safety questions
If your question involves carbon monoxide, wiring a generator into a house, or a device someone depends on medically, please do not wait for an email reply. Generators must run outdoors, at least 20 feet from the building, and connecting one to house wiring requires a transfer switch or interlock fitted by an electrician. For anything urgent, contact a licensed professional or your utility.
